| Ученици от Бургас и региона ще премерят сили в традиционното състезание за птиците на БДЗП, Bourgas, Burgas |

Students from Burgas and
the region will again compete in the traditional race for influenza
organized by the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB). Known as the "Olympics in
ornithology» competition is held for the twelfth consecutive time in
this country with the support of the Regional Inspectorates on Education
in the Ministry of Education and Science. For several consecutive
years to include students from primary and secondary schools not only in
the Bourgas region, but also from Varna, Haskovo and Kardjali regions.
This year, participants
in the race for the birds will demonstrate knowledge in two rounds. The first is the school
and will be held in all schools who requested to be included in it. Pupils in the presence of
their teachers will have to answer several questions about biology,
ecology and conservation of various species of our nature. Will be placed and a
little more difficult task, namely to identify photographs of two types
of birds and to write what they know about them. Tests are checked
prebuilt criteria and participants gathered maximum points to qualify
for next round.
The second Olympics in
ornithology will be held at the Nature Center Poda which best performing
players in the competition again will have to demonstrate competences
in two levels. The first is theoretical -
solving test problems and the second level is practical - identifying
birds. In his welcome at the
center they will go and shelter for bird watching, where with the help
of specialists will be able to view some of the inhabitants of the lake
Mandra Complex - floor.
The aim is to
sazstezanieto young people to feel the beauty of the feathered creatures
in nature and learn interesting and curious facts about their biology
and ecology. All children who
participate in the Olympics will receive diplomas, but for Outstanding
Students organizers have prepared many prizes. Ten best connoisseurs of
birds in Bulgaria will take part in the trip.
With the organization of
the race for the birds started the educational program of the Society
for the Protection of Birds in the four-year project Life + program
"Living for the Bourgas Lakes."
