New york - "Earth Hour
international environmental organization WWF toured 125 countries and
territories in 1274 and famous places ugasiha lights for an hour from
20:30 pm local time to show sympathy for serious action against climate
change.
Involved is more than
4000 cities, 56 capital cities, 8 of the 10 largest metropolis in the
world, including Sofia, London, New York, Paris, Moscow, Tokyo, Beijing,
Delhi, Sydney, Nairobi, Rio de Janeiro as Station and Davis in
Antarctica.
Pyramids and Sphinx at
Giza, the most serious symbol of joint efforts in the past, was among
the monuments of human culture and natural wonders that ugasiha lights
for "Earth Hour", with the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Eiffel Tower
and Arc de Triomphe in Paris , Buckingham Palace and
Big Ben in London, the Empire State Building in New York, Berlin's
Brandenburg Gate, the Acropolis in Athens, the Colosseum and the Trevi
fountain in Rome, Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Sydney Opera
House, the bridge over the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Niagara waterfall.
The "Earth Hour" is
included and 43 Bulgarian cities:
Bulgaria, Asenovgrad,
Belene Belogradchik Blagoevgrad, Burgas, Byala, Varna Veliki Preslav
Veliko Tarnovo Velingrad Vratsa, Gabrovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa Gulyantsi,

In Sofia, WWF organized a
procession of light at NPC Vitosha Blvd to the garden of the National
Theatre with torches and lanterns. During "Earth Hour" in
the garden of the National Theatre held a concert without sound in the
light of torches, which involved nearly 1000 people.
