National
Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria will fight to maintain the
hospitals, which health ministry announced for closure. That said PRO.BG with new Executive Director of the Association Ginka Chavdarova. According
to her, one of the main problems will be exactly where patients will be
treated by the municipalities and will be used the health centers. Last but not least a big problem is the infrastructure in the country, said Ginka Chavdarova. "As our roads dangerous for healthy people, what about the sick?" Asked the Executive Director of NAMRB.
Regarding
options for municipalities to bear the costs of hospitals in places
Ginka Chavdarova was clearly that this is not going to happen, because
neither has spelled out in law or municipal budgets can not afford this
type of expense.
For
the new model of local financing NSOBR believe that part of the tax
should remain in this city, but what is the part that remains - it
depends on association talks with the government. "As home to one third of the remaining funds, and then - why not half," said Ginka Chavdarova. She also added that municipalities this year are slightly better prepared than last year.
