Shooting Club "Pirgos" was established on 12.04.2007 by a group of sport hunting sympathizer shot. The founders were united by the idea to restore the traditions of this attractive Olympic sports, which existed until recently in Burgas and to fill a gap in the sports life of the city.
In the statutes of the club were set high goals to guide the club and every club member - the full development of sport hunting shooting, financial, organizational and technical provision of sports training to athletes of all ages in the sports disciplines "Look," "Trap" and " Silhouette "to participate in tournaments from the state sports calendar, as well as improving sports shooting skills of its members and did all the shooting hunting lovers who wish to practice this sport.
The club was established as a non-profit organization and is set to perform socially useful activities in the field of physical education and sport and as such is registered in the Central Registry at the Ministry of Justice under № 20070522008. The club has adopted as a regular member of the Bulgarian Federation of hunting and shooting is also entered in the National Register of licensed sports organizations and their member sports clubs under № 1-043-012 in State Agency for Youth and Sports.
Currently, the club teams are regular participants in state tournaments and state tournament administered by BFLS. In addition, the club sports tournaments calendar obtained great popularity among both club members and fans of the shooting. Extremely attractive for lovers of hunting are tournaments in the disciplines "Sporting" and "Running Boar" because they are close to the maximum degree of fire during the actual hunting and are a good way to relax and increase active outside shooting skills hunting season.
